On the first page of the new job wizard, select 'local job for data analysis' and click on 'Next'. The setup page that follows will prompt you to select which data interface module (DIM) you wish to use to open the data set you will analyze. All DIMs registered in the Local DIM registry will be listed. Once you have selected the DIM, click on 'Next'. In my example I will use the 'Flat File' DIM.
The next page will be specific to the DIM you have selected. Shown below is the
setup page for the 'Flat File' DIM. I have selected a file and am ready to open the
job.
Click on 'Finish' when you have finished setting the DIM parameters, and the job should open. The data set you specified on the setup page(s) will open automatically.
