A remote job involves a connection to a remote Java data server. Events will be processed there. If you choose to use your remote job for event analysis, then you will open a data set from the Java data server you have connected to and the events will be analyzed on the same server. If you use your remote job for event generation, then the event generation will take place on the remote Java data server.
