Parametrizing body of shower

• Use shower axis (straight line) to describe direction of shower

  • do energy- weighted least squares fit of channels in cluster
  • do we need to deal with different DE/layer in EM vs HAD? What about different transverse seg?
  • in progress now (Dan)

• Then can parametrize longitudinal and transverse shower shapes along this axis

  • in what units (cm, X0/L)?

• Can put shower start point in as constraint

  • give it a higher weight
