Now available for Windows (95/98/Me/NT/2000), Solaris and Linux. If in doubt try
the Windows version, it is easier to install and is the most thoroughly tested. Users of
other Unix flavours should try the Solaris version. See the release notes for more information.
For Windows we are now using Microsoft Installer for the download/install (using a .msi file). If you already have Office 2000 or Windows 2000, you should have no problems, otherwise you may need to install the Microsoft installer first. One symptom of not having Microsoft Installer installed is that Netscape may attempt to display the file instead of download it. Further instructions can be found in the release notes. The JAS API documentation can also be downloaded, in case you need to access it offline. |
