Charged Track Reconstrution in the VXD3 Era
A working group is forming with the assigned task to develop pattern
recognition and integrated tracking for the drift chambers and
vertex detector in the VXD3 era.
This is an exciting project with real physics ramifications in
the future. A tracking efficiency of greater than 99% should greatly
increase our ability to do charge/neutral lifetime ratios, full event
topological reconstructions, and mixing measurements, as well as the
normal quark flavor tagging. If these physics topics interest you
please consider devoting some time to this project. I am particularly
looking for people who can make a real contribution to this effort
by devoting 50% or more of their time for at least three months,
and up to a year. If you are interested in this work, please contact
