How to get to the 8mm drive room
The 8mm drives are in room 208 in the computer center. To get to room 208, enter the computer center building by the main lobby entrance. Turn left, past the output bins, then turn right passing the terminal room. Continue on down the corridor past the coke machine and through the door leading to the staircase. Go up the staircase to the second floor, here you will see a door (labeled 208) with a black box with buttons. Type in the secret SLD pass number you got from
Terry Schalk.
If you did it right, the green light will flash, and you will be able to open the door and enter the room. The 8mm tape drives are on top of the
VAX,
immediately in front of you as you enter the room. Use drive MUB0.
