Farm Developments/Performance

• We have glommed onto the ‘spare’ MCC AlphaServer 4100 (1k specints)

  • running smoothly now
  • ~12k events/day

• In the process, tweaked some I/O parameters

• Now get up to 15k/day on otherwise idle VX cluster

• VU gets 18k/day

• SLD Farms total ~45k/day

  • OK for all ‘97-98!
