Observations
Step function drop in response at Small endcap for electrons
- not much effect for Large
see 20% drop in response in barrel if B set to zero
if whole calorimeter is made sensitive, there is no effect of barrel/endcap/field
- sampling fraction must be changing with B
Effect does not appear to depend on incident energy
- 5 GeV shows same trend
- have not repeated at higher energies
Lowering cutoff to 200 keV from 1 MeV raised response at 900 by 0.6 GeV for 10 GeV electrons.
Chevron calorimeter so far shows e/m consistent with endcap/field-off barrel
