Calorimeter Simulation Validation

• Compare GISMO results to SLD calorimeters (GEANT 3.21)

  • 50 GeV e’s in luminosity monitor (W-Si)
    • good agreement in resolution and response:
      • SLD (3%, 0.78)
      • GISMO (2.7%, 0.77)
    • e,p,g in Pb-LAr+Fe-scint
      • reasonable agreement
    • did detailed comparisons of GHEISHA interfaces
