Observations so far

• EM resolutions are O(15%) for both, not 12%

• Large detector HAD resolution is

  s(E)/E = 0.40/?E + 0.05
  

largeish constant term

• Small detector as proposed is

  s(E)/E = 0.51/?E + 0.07
  
  
  large constant term due to coil

• removing coil reduces constant term, raises energy term slightly

• crossover of Small v Large at ~50 GeV. Small is worse over most of kinematic range

• EM distributions look nicely gaussian

• HAD distributions generally have a small high energy tail

• Leakage from the HAD is becoming evident at 50 GeV
