This panel allows you to select how you want text pages to print and be
displayed. As explained on the printing page, printing is
currently supported only for text files because the current printing facilities do not
work for lightweight (i.e., swing) components.
- In the first box, set the font. A combo box lets you choose from the fonts that
AWT supports. Note that
- The deprecated font 'Courier' has been replaced with 'Monospaced' (i.e., use
'Monospaced' when you really want 'Courier').
- The deprecated font 'Helvetica' has been replaced with 'SansSerif'.
- The deprecated font 'TimesRoman' has been replaced with 'Serif'.
- The box below allowa you to set margins. Enter numbers in inches.
- In the box on the right, set the colors for strings, numbers, keywords, and comments as
you want them to appear on the screen. Just click on the colored button to open the
color chooser.
