Press Release

Barry Barish's Presentation

The JLC Roadmap Report Draft for General Release has been made public at the ACFA Linear Collider Symposium which was held on February 12, 2003. The draft document is available as PDF files here.

The original report can be found here (in German) or here (in English).

The DESY press release can be found here.

At Jeju it was agreed by the Worldwide Study that a small group would draft a brief case for the linear collider which could be approved by the worldwide community involved in linear collider studies. The group (Paul Grannis, Francois Richard, Sachio Komamiya and Takayuki Matsui) has produced a draft which is ready for discussion. The group would like to get the first feedback from you. Please print it out from LC Report from WW Study Group Version 5.1 of 25 January 2003.

R&D Meetings

The following three organizational meetings provided venues for R&D planning:

Research and Development Opportunities for the Linear Collider (FNAL, April 5, 2002)

Linear Collider Consortium Organizational Meeting (Cornell, April 19, 2002)

Workshop on Linear Collider R&D Opportunities (SLAC, May 31, 2002)

The University Consortium for Linear Collider R&D and the Linear Collider Research and Development Working Group take pride in releasing a comprehensive report on new proposals for Linear Collider accelerator and detector R&D. The report can be found on the web at the following url:
