Loading Classes

In order to be able to run an analysis routine or event generator, you must load a compiled source file.  To open the load dialog, either

• select 'Load...' from the 'Job' menu.   This menu item will only be enabled if there is a job open.  Enter the class name in the text field without any extension.  For example, were my class called MyAnalysis, I would have
  
• or, if you have the source file open, open the popup menu from the program page window and select 'Load'.  This menu item will only be enabled if there is a job open and the file has been compiled.

The class file (the file that the compiler generated) must be saved in the class path.  When the class is successfully loaded, it will appear in the job tree, as will a folder called 'Histograms' that includes the histograms defined in the source file.   If you recompile a loaded class, the job will reload the new version.
